Finally Back!

I have been crazy busy for the past couple of months, hence the no new posts..

I have been busy with wedding planing, wedding, honeymoon and finally nesting into our new home.

Sorry for the disappearing I have just been super busy with work, getting ready for the GRE and fashion week!

Best Broadway show I have ever seen :)

The music, characters, the acting and the costumes... It was incredible

I don't know if it is because I have some childhood memories attached but the show was absolutely breathtaking

I am so happy my friend Ann invited me to go as her plus one!

Muses Parade

Ah, Mardi Gras... How I missed you!

Last night I went to one of my favorite parades of all time:

Muses

Its an all female Krewe who throws at the crowd mirrors, shoes, purses, comes and other cute girly stuff

They also throw the traditional Mardi Gras bead but with a feminine touch

(The beads are usually shaped in shoes)

The route usually starts Uptown, goes all the way down St. Charles Ave and ends Downtown

We were standing in the heart of Uptown

Most of the floats this year were mocking famous clothing stores and in between the floats you have the middle school or high school bands from the area playing awesome music!

So underneath here you will see some of the "highlights" for last night...

Sorry for the quality- but people just go coo coo for beads!

I can't wait for this weekend! I can't describe my excitement! My sister will be coming in town with a couple of her friends and I can just feel we are going to have a great time*

The main parades will be Saturday and Sunday!!

*mom if you are reading this--don't worry we will be VERY safe :)
